Information Copy & Rabbit handles

Copy & Rabbit works with information that you explicitly choose to capture or import, including selected text, code, images, links, webpage titles and URLs, screenshots, and files. It also stores the canvas names, item positions, zoom level, and preferences needed to maintain your visual workspace.

How information is used

This information is used only to provide the extension's core features: capturing content, displaying it on a visual canvas, organizing it, and allowing you to revisit it later. Copy & Rabbit does not use your information for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or purposes unrelated to these features.

Local storage and transmission

Your canvases, captured items, imported files, and preferences are stored locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage. Copy & Rabbit does not require an account and does not upload this content to a Copy & Rabbit server.

Sharing and sale of data

Copy & Rabbit does not sell, rent, or transfer your personal information or captured content to third parties. The extension contains no advertising or analytics service that receives your captured content.

Browser permissions

• Storage saves canvases and preferences locally.
• Tabs and activeTab identify and capture the page you choose.
• Context menus let you save selected content from Chrome's menu.
• Scripting and host access enable capture tools on the page when you request them.

Your choices and deletion

You can remove saved items or canvases within the extension. You can also delete all locally stored Copy & Rabbit data by removing the extension or clearing its extension data through Chrome.

Security

Copy & Rabbit limits its use of information to the functions described in this policy. Because data is stored on your device, the security of that data also depends on the security of your browser profile and device.

Children’s privacy

Copy & Rabbit is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the extension's features or data practices change. Any update will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
